YoungJin (Singapore) is the international division of YoungJin.com—a public-listed computer book publisher headquartered in Korea. Our books are sold in Korea, US, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand and many other countries. YoungJin is the biggest computer book publisher in Korea and we have a subsidiary in Singapore that creates English titles for export.

Due to our rapid expansion, we are looking for writers and editors for our self-help books on computer graphics and photography. This is a good opportunity for selected applicants as the job brings with it the prestige of being a published designer or photographer and exposure in the international arena.

It may also interest potential applicants to know that YoungJin is a publisher of a number of worldwide bestsellers. For example, our “40 Digital Photography Techniques” was a bestseller on Amazon.com and had a good review from the influential Chicago Tribune. The title, together with others, has also been translated in more than 10 countries. The book is now into the second edition.

WRITERS
The Job
• Write our photography or computer graphics books
• Contract position
• No relocation required

Requirements
• Good working knowledge of photography (DSLR), Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, iLife suite OR iPod.
• Strong and extensive portfolio, a good eye for design, independent and deadline-oriented.
• Good command of English.

EDITORS
The Job
• Copy- and technical-edit our English IT books
• Contract position
• No relocation required

Requirements
• Good working knowledge of photography, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, iLife suite OR iPod
• Meticulous, analytical, independent and deadline-oriented.
• Excellent command of English.
