yes it is, but you have to update your 1DmkII firmware to the latest one.

don't think it's available yet. You can bet it'll be > $1000. It's selling for US$999 on Adorama

WFT-E1 is the first generation of the Canon WFT E series. It is a bulky adaptor screwed onto the camera. It can be used on 1D MK2, 1D2 MK2 and 5D. Not so user friendly and setup. Not like WFT-E2 to WFT-E4 where the device is small and light enough to attach onto the camera or act like a battery grip to the camera. There is a software utility CD included with the item. Not so useful.

To setup the system, you need to download the manual from the web. Follow the instructions in the manual. Don't know approach CSC.
