Default Should i get APO MACRO SUPER II 70-300mm F4-5.6 for my D70?

Hi...

Considering getting an telephoto zoom lens for my D70 for birds or wildlife shooting.
Should i get APO MACRO SUPER II 70-300mm F4-5.6 or any others advice??

pretty good and sharp lens given the price. Useful for covering the tele range until you get enough dough

for the price u pay it's decent enough... i use it with relatively good results..

i find the lens very good value for money....

only thing you need to consider is whether 300mm is sufficient for you....
i dun shoot wild birds, so not too sure....
but i find that even at 300mm, going to the zoo and shoot some caged animals also like insufficient.... 400mm lens would be perfect.... hee hee but no $$$$ liao...

im using a relatively cheap and good 400mm lens... tamron 200-400mm f/5.6 works well for me~ low CA, its not that light, nor is it actually heavy... push-pull (im in thailand and this lens takes in less (none yet...) dust than my kit lens!!!), it's IF with a hood. Costs here in Thailand about... 10000 baht... around 450 or less SGD worth getting if you asked me. Its pretty sharp too! i love the colors... v nice.
