F1 at Sepang

Am planning a trip to the above event later this month. Can anybody advise as to what lens is needed to get the cars to fill 1/3 to 1/2 of the frame (assuming one's using a DSLR with crop factor of 1.6x)? Would 300mm be enough? Thanks in advance for the info.
