Cool.
Also has the lens. Find the focus is not sharp and detail is not clear, even use >F8.0 and speed >1/250 in bright situ w tripod, shutter release. Pics tend to be soft. Yours testing bring back my hope on this lens. What the settings when you take those pics ? what is the working distance ? Any crop in PS ? Thanks. |

I was using ISO 800,f4.5, 1/750 @ 190mm, did not use flash as the day was very bright..moreover I am using high ISO..Yes, I crop it with PS and unmask sharpness by a little to bring out the image.. I think this is better..did a similar post in another thread.. ![]() |

erm... abt the lens
I dont get any problem with it. you can check my shots. all using sigma 70-300mm, on EOS 300D. of course, post-processed. and I dont bring my tripod shooting butterflies. tripods too much of hasle. the most I'd use monopod. some of the shots were done handheld as it was impossible to use monopod. and for the ISO, max ISO I ever used shooting macros was ISO 400. |
