Canon FD Lens on 20D

Inspired by weekh's experience with the CZ lens, I decided to try taking some shots with a FD 50mm f1.8 lens which is rated 4.4 on photodo. I don't have any FD-EOS adapter, so what I did was just hold the lens and press it againt the 20D's mount to take the shots.

As some of you may already know, you can't focus to infinity with this set up. Basically, it is as if an extension tube is fixed between the lens and camera body. Minimum focusing distance is thus reduced.

I must say I am very pleased with the results. I like the bokeh, colour and sharpness. Here is one of the shots taken:
