Thanks Simon, yes these shots are taken at Sentosa Butterfly Park.

Heard that the monorail will not be in service after 15 march 2005.
Maybe you guys would like to take some shots before the service end!!

Nice shots there Used a 50mm lens reversed

I'm kinda busy lately, don't have too much time to shoot now

I have not try out the 50mm reversed because when I got the step up ring fixed, my friend wanted back his 50mm lens. Will get one next month.

hi i have a nikon f1.8 50mm manual lens, will it be suitable for reverse lens macro?

Yes, it should be able to. You can check my first attempt here:

Not that good, but you can get the idea. I used a Pentax 50mm f1.4 manual lens reversed. No other lens attached. I might be able to get better results if I used it along with another macro lens

Very nice and closeup . Improve the background (brighter) would make the shot looks better and more nature
