Default Good Cam with IS.

New one lowest price I can find is $650 at Sim Lim Square Alan Photo.
Can't remember they got say give an 128MB CF card or not.
A very good buy got 'IS & EVF', '10x opt zoom'.

Go and take a look if you like this cam.

consider the panasonic FZ3 too, for same price range, it has better image quality, IMO and better full F2.8 lens. but canon has very nice tilt and swivel lcd. compare between the 2 and decide.

previously owned one, i suggest to get the panasonic fz series.
s1 capability to resolve resolution is very bad.

i guess it's the 10x lens + 3mp only ccd, making the pics blur blur to me. but still it my own opinion, some might feel its ok.
