For a start, well done on the shot!

what camera / lens are you using?

Do you think it's a bit out of focus? Or is it just my eyes playing tricks on me?

tried to focus on the eyes, tough work.

shot on a d70 + reversed 50mm, with built-in flash. random results with the built-in flash, it's either over or under-exposed 80% of the time.
