Haha...
I was caught in the rain while separated rom the outing ppl yesterday.....so tried to make full use of the time.... THis is my first time at the dark enclosure....where the ocelot...is housed... As you know the condition of the glass panels in the zoo here...scratched and fogged....i tried to trail the cat as it moved to and fro.....finally found the pattern of this cat moving left and right and kinda pre focus manully to one of the branches on the floor ....hoping it will come by the same spot....and yes it did.... With the flash on Omnibounce pointing up to avoid glare on the glass panel.... I did tried out a few shots...and happy to get some great once..... Similar method was for the first creature...i thought it was a Sloth.....but...(experts...!!! need your help for ID)..... I had to pre focus in the dark manually.....(the enclosure was VERY!!! dimly lit with yellow lights)....Seem thist this creature like to stuck its tongue out.... All shots had to be done handheld......as animals were moving rapidly....in the dark.....or low lit...situation... rgds, sulhan |

1, 3 and 4 are brilliant! Lots of character and humour, which make them exceptional. Love 'em!
The low light, glass, fill-in flash and handholding is not easy at all. Kudos mate! ![]() |
