Olympus:C990 Zoom
Two million pixels plus impressive inclusions The first double megapixel model in the C-900ZOOM series is equipped with a versatile 5.4 - 16.2 mm 3x zoom lens (corresponding to 35 - 105 mm on a conventional 35 mm camera). Should this level of magnification not suffice, however, images can be enlarged by a further 1.6, 2 or 2.5x with the digital tele. To give the best possible accuracy, measurements for exposure and focussing are made through-the-lens (TTL). And, allowing great photography in all sorts of lighting conditions, the C-990ZOOM permits exposure compensation to +/- 2EV in 1/2 EV steps, as well as spot metering. added.. some links to pics I found.... http://www.what-digital-camera.com/d...90boatsVGA.jpg http://www.what-digital-camera.com/d...ces/990sea.jpg http://www.what-digital-camera.com/d...s/990macro.jpg $599 for the package including extra 16MB memory, Rechargable batterys, charger, USB memory card reader and 1~2 other stuff...... worth it? Thanks |

it's a basic point and shoot. you won't be able to get great night shots with this camera.
Olympus C2040 at $750 is a better deal. |
