I'm now on a temporary assignment in Saudi Arabia. Was out for a 'picnic' in the desert with colleagues yesterday and this fella happened to fly within range. I thought it was an eagle, but my colleague told me it is a falcon - a common sight in the Saudi deserts.

Weather is cooling at this time of the year, around 12° C thoughout the day and dips to about 8° C in the night. There was a heavy downpour today and after the rain, there was a nice rainbow across the city, and I managed to get some shots of it.

The heat will turn up from the second week of March as 'winter' is nearing it's end. Hmmm, where are my shades?

Hope you don't mind; this shot would have been even better if it weren't for the tree trunk in the background. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with you, I had to be quick at that time and I didn't have much choice. I tried to clone it away in photoshop, but my photoshop skills is only 'half past six', so I decided to leave it as it is.

Nice gallery you had at your website, enjoyed viewing your pics
