it's possible as long as you haven't used the cf card again for writing. software like ez recovery and get the data back for you.

Hi,

I am new to this site. Totally blur about the nav. Hope this reply links to Mystic's question. If not, pse redirect.

Mystic - Help! How do i restore files deleted in my cf card?

Read about a software on the net - Digital PhotoRescue Pro 1.3. Go to site - http://www.tomdownload.com/new_add/n...hotorescue.htm - and see write-up. Seems to be able to solve your problem. I personally have not tried it.

On the other hand, if your CF Card/Camera is linked by USB to the PC, then it will be treated like any drive. Any other recovery software should find it. However, you might have to rename ext to psd

Just don't use ur CF card and leave ur deleted file alone, and use those data recovery software. I'll give it a near 100% success rate in recovering from my experience. If those software doesn't work just goto download.com and get a different type of recovery.

i used drive rescue b4. it works. recovered ard 95% of those in the CF. as mentioned, it will recover files if u havent overwritten the CF with new data.

I think you are asking for file recovery ... and not image recovery. to get those data recovery program instead or try 'Undelete' from a host of application sw such as pctools.. or even DOS if you are familiar with..
