Default one Shrike? after a while

Finally picked up my dried up cam and went out birdshooting after a long break.
After a couple hours of hunting, this shrike(this is a shrike right? ) is the best of the lot....
Shot with flash at iso800 ...... comments appreciated for improvement.

I guess the ambient light was pretty low when you shot it, hence, the "flash" look in the image. In future, try shooting when the lighting condition is better, you'll see a big different in your image.

Thank you guys for the comments and tip.

I'll love to avoid using flash whenever I can.....
