yeah .. like the title says ... the rains finally came ... and with the sudden rains a mother cat couldn't get its kittens out of the drain in time before the water level started rising ... it ended up scampering off ... some of my sch. mates and cca friends went to rescue em and dry em off ... aparently ... the mother cat didn't want them anymore cos of the 'human smell' on the kittens after we dried em off

... ended up with the drama peepz taking the cats to a nearby vet, pet shop then home ... may end up in spca

4 of the 6 kittens rescued .. the water level was over 2 inches ... and considering their size ... they were pretty much freezing up

Where are the cats now?! I'm sure there are people out there willing to help. Any info and contact? What happened to the other 2 kittens?

wahh .. relax a little k? think my earlier post made it sound like 2 drowned

... 4 out of 6 kittens that were rescued are in that pic cos 1 more was somewhere further down the drain ( got spooked by a sch mate who was trying to rescue it and ran down ) the other was getting towel dried ... wish there was a hair dryer ... anyways the kittens are with various drama members (all in the hands of cat lovers and peepz who have cats at home) ... dropped by a pet shop nearby to get some food for the kittens and they're gonna visit a vet pretty soon ... just to make sure everything is alright ... might go to spca or cat welfare society if we can't find housing ...

note: total of 6 kittens were spotted in the drain after we heard the mewing ... and all 6 were rescued =)

err .. not really ... only brought cam cos of the drama production rehearsals ...
