Oly C720UZ or Canon A40

how ar ? which one...
difference around 200-300 only...but which one is definitely a more worthwhile investment ???
Heard that smartmedia is being phased out right ?
i am a rookie in photography...not even amatuer...
like to take photos...of gf...of scnery..animal..etc etc...

which one would you guys suggest ???

How serious are you about animal photography? If you intend to take photos at the zoo on a frequent basis, the long lens of the C-720UZ will probably be a decisive factor in its favour.

yeah, if the extra zoom for faraway objects is something u need regularly, spend the extra money.

since money is not a big concern, go for the C720UZ which has more features and longer zoom.

ya..some more is 3mp... and cost around $750
compare to A40 ($510) 2mp to achieve far distance.. u need to buy adapter $23... plus teleconverter 2.4 $150...
total around $700 to achieve 7.1x zoom. not every worth it...
