    Probably a bit of fill lights on the right, to recover some details from the shadows especially the left eye.

    And maybe abit much of cropping on the right too.
    Great photography is about depth of feeling, not depth of field.

    I like the concept Perhaps if there was a way to make the doll appear to have more life?

    Thanks, yeah, the tight framing on the right is something I'm also undecided on..
    As for the lighting, nothing much I can do in the shop, although it was the window side-lighting that caught my eye...

    I guess its possible with more controlled lighting, but I'm clueless with flash/studio lighting
    In any case, I don't think I wanna buy that thing...
