    Question Please recommend travel tripod

I'm looking for a travel tripod that is:

    1) less than SGD 50 ( or as cheap as possible )
    2) less than 1 kg ( as light as possible )
    3) stable ( doesn't have to be fantastic build quality; will suffice so long it won't fall when wind blows )

It will be used it to mount mFT/m43/micro four thirds cameras only.

I was looking at the Lollipod (Lollipod Self-Photo Stand)
It fits my requirements mostly but I am just concerned about the lifespan of the plastic stoppers.

    Appreciate any input. Thanks.

Have you seen this sticky thread: http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/other...ipod-head.html ?
Secondly: Please do not cross-post, one thread is sufficient.

For 50 bucks you're limited to the cheap ones anyway.

Aside from the obvious SEARCH ad this topic has been discussed to death, look in the buy and sell section for a bargain.

Sorry. my bad. I saw the equipment thread after I've posted in the newbie forum and decided to re-post in more relevant forum.

I glanced through the link you've provided and get the points where there's no perfect tripod in terms cost/weight/stability.

Therefore I am willing to compromise on the last bit (stability). This also help to explain the reasoning behind my example with the Lollipod.
I have tested it at a shop, it's cheap and light enough. Though it may not be as sturdy as a traditional tripod, it is good enough for my usage.
Just have some worries on the plastic/rubber stoppers lifespan.

I am however willing to pay slightly more for a better product up to an certain extent.
If there no other tripods within or close to my budget, then looks like I would have make do with it.

I tried the search before posting this thread and looked through the first 3 pages.

As you have mentioned, many are out of my budget

Anyway, I was reminded not to open multiple threads, hence I will closing this one.
