These are my takes at Hantu. I know I should have posted earlier. Now after all the nice photos from the rest, please be gentle with comments.
This is one of my last few shots. Only manage to take 2 shots before it moved back into hiding. Would like to move closer and lower for better position. This flabellina have a pink/red internal organ. Anyone know what is it, intestine, nerve? ![]() |

Only time allows me to take a photo with a nice (IMO) dark/black background when it is night as I cannot control the shutter speed/exposure of my camera. Have to put more work on my strobe as it sometime does not fire. |

Also please enlighten about my nick?
I feel the same about taking the eyes and face shot. It just retreated so quickly before I can get any more shots. Maybe it was still early (slightly before 8pm) as the sun just set and it just came out of hiding. It is just more sensitive to foreign object with bright lights. |

But back to your pics, where did you see that crab? Was it during the night dive? |

It is during night dive. It was the second last shot I took so must be quite close to the boat already and at shallow depth. My guess is it is nocturnal animal and comes out only at night. Just took 2 shots with flash and it immediately retreated back. And I am not even that near to it (at least .5m away). |
