but do note that this is after all a Coolpix and cannot replace your DSLR
there are limitations to what the hardware can do but once you get to know the limitations and make the most of it
it can do wonders.

some notes: it seems that the camera will rather under expose the shot than to have camera shake, it detected a long exposure, i had to change to manual mode to overcome it
the exposure compensation dial is really useful and easy to use, there is even a little light to tell you that it has been activated.
would have preferred if the battery was the same as my Nikon DSLR
I have noticed that some newer cameras can charge their battery via a USB port, this would be useful as i can carry just 1 external battery to charge all my devices or just 1 charger.
