Default Need Help: Minolta Dimage Scan Dual II

The picture I have scanned here showed that it is very under the actual picture.

Anyone knows how to tune this slide scanner?

Thanks for pointing out my mistake; I didn't look at the scans so wrong advice ...is your monitor properly calibrated? U scanned postives or negatives? Need you to fill in the blanks before others can come to your aid

Paiseh... I didn't make my question clearly ;P Anyway to answer the above questions:

1. Monitor was properly calibrated.
2. Scanning positive slides.
3. Very consistent, all underexposed, though the pictures are all ok.

Anything else I missed? :P

no lar adam, u are quite right, it depands on your slide, if the different between hi key and low key is too great, do not use auto level, else I don't see anything wrong with auto level.

now, I am talking about black art of photography, best if we can consult Ian.
