Default Unidentified flying object

Ok, so actually it's perched on a branch. Anyone has an ID? Don't think i've seen this bird posted here before. Thanx!

I think that's an Asian Koel (female).

This is one sharp image and well exposed IMO, despite the harsh and contrasty lighting.

Did some googling for the Asian Koel and yeah, i think you're right there.

There was actually another black bird in the same tree, which I assume is the male. They were jumping around chasing each other on the tree. Mating ritual i suppose?

Good effort there, try to capture it at eye level for more impact. IMHO, the secret to good nature photography is perseverence.
