Wink The courting couple

This two fellows (White-bellied Sea Eagle) were making so much noise that they could be heard from afar...

WBSE pairs have a really interesting courtship ritual whereby they will lock their talons in mid-air and tumble in a downward spiral for a few seconds. And they make a heck of a lot of noise as well.

Keep a look out for them and see if you can get a shot of them with their talons locked. Would make an interesting picture.

You have this knack to capture something unusual out of something usual.

Nice flight shot of this pair of WBSE. The one on the right seems a bit smaller in size, it was flying above the other one?

Thanks for the information, they did attempt to lock talons, but the backlit Sun prevented me from documenting the sequence. Will continue to observe this pair and share pics... if any.

You're right Garion, the right one was flying above the other.
