Default Solemnisation: Sebastian and Eunice

Some photos from my first solemnisation shoot....

ok ok .. i confess... i exaggerated a bit ... I've done some weddings before, and this is seriously the first time I've done a solemnisation shoot. I guess the hardest part of the shoot was doing the couple shots ... its amazing how quickly you can run out of ideas ...

Anyway, comments welcome

How did u get the last kissing shot ? did they kiss that long for u to finish the first 2 shots and then the third one with a longer shutter speed ? very nice indeed

Actually, i took about 5-6 shots of them kissing. They had to kiss several times and i tried to capture them at different angles.

Shot using long exposure + rear sync flash on tripod.

not comfortable with the tilted shots ... doesn't seem to compliment the subjects of the shots ... then again, it's just me, might jolly well work for others

I find the couple faces are underexposed. It could be due the background is very bright ( focus at the sky ) and fill-in flash is not strong. It would be good to show the environment of the ROM solemnisation, guests expression and candid, closeup of still life like flower bouquet & rings and happy moment of the couple.

So far I like shot #10 ..
