Default Runner in Shadow

Hi all

This is my very 1st photo post, so be gentle

Took this on a recent visit to the East Coast. Photo was taken with my SONY Cyber-Shot (1.3 Mega Pixels). My nephew was running all over the place and I did a panning-shot...didn't expect to catch anything, but was kind-of pleasantly surprised when I reviewed the photos for the day

Cheers

the pic is very nicely taken. capture the feel of the beach, but not very comfy to look at. the glare is so bad, is unfortable after looking at it for too long.

wow ... nice water texture ... i don't know the situation (available time, space to manoeuvre etc.) when you took this shot, but for this shot i will consider shooting further away so that the boy fills up lesser space on the right (you only get silhouette, so do not need the boy image to be so big, won't get much details) and leave more space for the water and the trail of splashes

Yah boy, that Glare was almost Blinding at the BEach
Was kinda surprised that the photo managed to capture that "blinding" feeling

It really was a spur-of-the-moment shot...Didn't have much time for composition

You've raised some good points, will bear in mind for the future
