The 1st shot have nice DOF. Very good. 2nd shot a bit messy with the leaves on the tree trunk i think. Maybe a tighter crop will improve it. 3rd shot have nice framing. I believe location is fort canning... Good series and nice sepia tone.
Care to share how you create the sepia tone in PS? |

hmm....i like the first shot....coz its natural......haha.....buten i tink too little DOF....if the "bride" face were sharp too it would be more pleasing....come to tink again...it would work for me too if there were less dof....so "bride's" face more blurred haha....
second shot got one idea come into my mind haha....the "bride" wanna kiss the "groom" then the groom move back...scared ahhaa......okok joking but tt's my first impression.... but heck...overall i tink the colours are really nice and all...... works for me man cheers..... |

Great series of pics... anyway i have my own way of sepia toning.. i wonder how you guys do it... 1) Add adjustment layer, Channel Mixer - tick monochrome... use the sliders to get the BW effect you want first 2) Add adjustment layer, Hue and saturation - Tick colorise. Choose a hue of brown and lower the saturation a lot. Too much spoils the pic.. How do you guys do it?? |

Sorry for the late reply.. was too busy to even process the other photos cuz of work... was even supposed to email some pics to the model but had no time.. prob will do it tonite.. anyway..
Absolutely Correct! I did it this way too. -Channel Mixer adjustment layer Adjust the tones according to ur taste, making sure there is so called 100% black (or somewhere close) and 100% white (or somewhere close). Make sure the details of the gown do not get blown out. -Hue & saturation adjustment layer According to taste.
Yup.. we more or less have the same sentiments... ![]()

there is another variation. After you do the custom BW with channel mixer. Convert the image to Grayscale. This will unlock the hidden option to covert to Duotone. Try of the custom pantone setttings... very very funky stuff... i like the quadtone colors
