Default Belkin Media reader for iPod n other accessory questions

Anyone tried the Belkin media reader accessory for iPod 20/40GB? How is it? I just read it could store digital images! Very much like the other portable storage devices, eg X-Drive, Compact Drive, etc.

What accessories are worth getting for the iPod 20GB?

Is the separate screen protector and iPod dock (thought this is provided in the iPod package??? No?) good to consider too?

Where can I buy a carrying case for the iPod?

    Thanks!!!

i'm not sure if Belkin upgraded the media reader? previously i read that it's slow (USB 1.1 speeds) and drains battery quickly.

any idea whether using this belkin media reader will mean the image files are transferred in it's entirety?
ie, the ipod colour ver will compress the images when transferred to it. (iirc)

that's the strange thing abt the 2 brands, i've used microsoft for a long time, but i don't feel inclined to sing praises abt their products. not many people do.
