HI Nisa,

Your shot is terribly under exposed, histogram shows exposure all on the left side.

You shot the picture in manual mode, multi pattern,f/3.5, 1/125sec, +0.7ev, 24mm, with noise reduction on.

The picture is very pixelated 'cos when you post process it you push up the levels too high.

Shutter speed 1/125 is too fast for IR. Generally for the D70 at f/3.5 on a very brightly lit day shutter speed should be in the region of 1/15s to 1/30s. You do not need to have noise reduction on too.

Your white balance seems ok. Try shooting again, this time using "P" mode first and observe the aperture and shutter speed. Then from there you can proceed to try shooting manual if you want to.

If you're available, come join us in our IR shoot next Sunday 27th. Feb at Haw Par Villa. We'll be more than happy to assist you.

Seems ok. But a bit out of focus. Next time try stopping down afew stops to get sharper image. then +1 or +2.

Wat Max is saying is use a smaller aperture.

Say F8 instead of F5.6

Also, overexpose it slightly to maybe +1 instead of 0.
