Default Red-Crowned Barbet

Just a record shot of this uncommon resident of the central forests. I managed only one quick shot before the subject flew off, didn't even have time to get a good focus. Because of the dense forest, I could not position myself to get a clear shot of the subject.

Ditto! IMHO, having the chance to see these rare beauties is good enough. It is not always neccessary to get the shot.
