    Default Subsidised Hearing Aid

    Hi bros and sis!
    Need help!

My 74 year old grandmother is experiencing ringing in her left ear.
i called up CGH and they quote me a price btwn $500-$5000(payable by cash only,no medisave no subsidy)
there will be follow ups and on each appointment i gotta top up amounting to the cost of the hearing aid.

comparing with a private center, Digisound. Free hearing test & consultation. Price ranging from $600 and above(payable by monthly installment throughout 12 months,no interest)

So pls bro and sis, if anyone of you got better lobang/suggestion, i would very much appreciate it.

    Thanks!

Sorry, I have limited medical knowledge (rather, next to zero) but I suppose the hearing aid will somehow help to overcome the tinnitus (the ringing sound).

The question is, is there a difference between CGH consultation and Digisound - will CGH also try to diagnose the issue causing the tinnitus, while Digisound merely serves up the hearing aid? This is something that you should probably think about as well, I thought.
