hi guys, i've just done a couple of test shots. upon uploading it to my computer, i just see a reddish image (caused by the filter obviously). How do i use photoshop to adjust the colour to get that kind of effects that u guys display in this forum?? i'm using 602z, and did a search regarding this matter, but couldn't find many relevant explanation to my qns.. so, pls help! :P
I'm an idiot in PS, so dun mind explain more detailedly.. hehee.. thanks Regards, Ray

Hi, If you have got a red image, most likely you have not done up on your custom white balance yet.
To do this, check out Max 2.8 Sticky instruction on White balance. IR Tutorial CWB on different camera You should get this colour as your output at the end of the day. Picture courtesy of teerex What you can do now with your reddish image is to create a B/W IR effect. 1) Desaturated your image 2) Adjust the Brightness/Contrast. The easiest way...lookout for a IR-shoot outing. The people here will be glad to lent you a helping hand ![]() |
