    Default Mac users on CS

I am seriously contemplating getting a 13" Black Macbook to work on my pictures but I wonder if the premium i pay for such a product is worth it?

I have never used a mac in my life and I was just wondering if there is really a difference in doing my photo editing (in terms of speed & performance) using a mac or is it just hype?

    Do share/advise.

if you are doing image editing, i'd suggest going for a larger screen - whether mac or windows. a 20" or 24" iMac would be ideal between budget and features =P

but yes, photo editing is much more intuitive on the mac os once you get the hang of it. i can't do without features like Expose! and i never thought i'd say this myself (despite being on both windows n mac platforms for years)...once you use a mac, you'd find it hard pressed to go back to windows.

Well, I have a desktop with a decent screen size - 19" for photo editing but the key reason behind getting the mac is the fact that I want to learn the ins & outs of a the Mac OS and learn more rather than be confined to one OS (i.e. Windows)

I was told abt the stability issue abt the MacBooks... that the graphic card & the intel chip has some conflicts... Is it something that i should be concerned about?
