E300 housing seems they'll have individual housing for each lens, separate from that of the body. wonder if ithey'll be compatible with 3rd party lens? |

there isn't any pics on the housing rite? Can't wait to see how it looks like.
The Oly lens is really dedicated, so i doubt any third party manufacturers will produce lens for it. For U/W, all u need is a 60mm/105mm macro and a WA in the range of 10-15mm. These should be already in the range on sale. Eric |

should look something like the 8080 housing i guess. HUGE.
but without a proper tray and holding arm, it'll be quite hard to use underwater. the lens are already a huge turn off... $$$$ |

there are 3rd party lenes availiable for the E-system already and at a fraction of the price. image quality wise also comparable to the dedicated lenses. i only hope that watever housing that is used with the lenses can fit 3rd party ones. also if the price ain't competitive the new canon dslr looks promising too. start up cost is abt the same as oly's. but lenses are much cheaper i think. |

Ok, whatever the housing was for (e-300 or 8080), it was really bulky. I'm sure there would be alternatives to buying something else that is more streamlined in the water.
