    What good is a super good camera (D1X or whatever) if its at home and you are forced to miss taking the picture??
    people have better things to do than to carry their cameras with them wherever they go, no matter how compact. if they decide to take photographs, then they'll bring their camera with them and they'll bring whatever is necessary to do the job. if it requires a D1x, so be it.

    Well, I'd say that people tend to carry a small compact with them more often. Maybe even as they go about daily.

    But carrying around SLRs everyday when its not part of your job is not something that's prevelant.

    is a canon ixus v2 good?
    for a point an shoot cam
    and i need nite shots too
    wil it do the job fine?
