Ya ya you are correct, my ex 7d after 1 year usage didn't have as much as i had the dust on my brand new 1 week old D600. Even my 2 years old D700 also doesn't have so much dust. And the worst thing is for the D600, the dust coming back just after the cleaning.
Even Dpreview has an article about this issue. Did you watch the timelapse video recorded by the canadian guy? brand new D600 1000shots with one lens got so many dust after 1000 clicks.
To be honest, your acceptance level is lower than most of the ppl here is your problem.
And we don't need you to remind us we should use the time to shoot instead to complain here, everybody knows that except newcomers.

We did nothing wrong to highlighting this so that everyone will know before buying one.

I'd tried to ignore it. But I just spent 1-2 minutes to remove all the stupid dusts after taking some landscape photos at f16.
Wasting 1 hour time travel to NSC for cleaning without solving the issue is pathetic.

I didn't ask people to shoot more instead of complain here. Think you referred/quoted the wrong person. My point of view, is the dust issue is over-hyped, that's all. I saw the video that's why I came in to take a look at the complains here. My findings is just for myself to decide if I should get a D600. Whether the rest of you care about the dust or not, is not my issue.

You can continue highlighting for all I care, as I don't care what you all care. If you feel so agitated, sell the D600 and stick with the D700 or your 7D. It would make you a happier man instead of lashing at others point of view.

I think that's a valid option. I doubt Nikon will provide a solution for the units already produced and sold.

Nobody will be able to answer you that question at this point. Something inside the camera seems to wear off rather quickly and produces some kind of debris while the filter in front of the sensor seems to be quite sticky in this model.

used my d700 for yrs then send in once to clean the sensor,
the technician still said WOW so many dust ah .. doesnt really matter cos i shot usually wide open

Depends on the crowd. Usually 25 to 45 mins.
