Default What lens is this?

Pop a look here:

My guess is a mirror lens, but I'm not too sure if that's a Nikon adapted to EF mount?

It's too big to be any of the Nikkor reflex lenses in the 500-1000mm f8 class and way to small to be either a 1000/6.3 or 2000/11 (and the wrong colour, pofile, shape etc)... Nor is it any of the 300mm Nikkors.

My guess is that it's likely to be a 300/2.8 or similar.

The clue however is in the handle and lens mount, however at present the exact manufacturer elludes me and I don't have time to go search the net, however it's not going to be too hard to find it methinks given there are few lens manufacturers who've made 3rd party fast big glass.

Quite certainly a leica R, probably the famed 180mm f2.

It's a 300/2.8 Leica R lens.
