he he he
to be exact: I'm looking for an adaptor that will allow the old screw mount lenses on the K mount. I have an Asahi and an MX bodies, hence I have lenses for both. I'd like to be able to share between the two bodies. I heard that they actually exist. Can anyone confirm and tell where to look ? thanks and cheers. |

If you are talking about from Singapore, then go to Lucky Chinatown at ... well... Chinatown. $50 for the original Pentax K --> Screw M42 from fotographic.
However, if you are looking for cheaper alternative, you can try Ebay : http://www.ebay.com.sg/viItem?ItemId=3873778488 http://www.ebay.com.sg/viItem?ItemId=3873928360 http://www.ebay.com.sg/viItem?ItemId=3874266966 http://www.ebay.com.sg/viItem?ItemId=3872737784 I think the original Pentax version is better then the rest as you do not need removal tools and at the same time, it is better made. |

yes. The tolerances of the PK mount mean that none of the 3rd party ones I've had previously worked as well as the Asahi original.
