    Default The race

    1. In what area is critique to be sought?
I am really new so any form of comments are welcomed - composition, colour etc

    2. What one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
To improve street photo skills and post processing as well. The photo is not processed at all.

    3. Under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)?
Shot with Leica M9 35mm summilux

    4. What the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture?
I was hoping to capture the emotion (uneasiness, anxiousness) before the race. There were many children around and i thought this stood out from the rest i took in the way the child at the lower right looked. Being the only child without goggles and facing somewhat towards the camera, the attention of the viewer would hopefully be directed to her.

Agree with Catchlights....would prefer a tighter framing here and correction for the exposure. Perhaps a tad more sharpening of the main subject's (girl not wearing goggles) face as well.
you can buy better gear but you can't buy a better eye

Jiann and Zaren - Thanks! It definitely showed how the feel of a picture can be improved.
