I just realised that most of the non-post processed IR photos are not RED.
mine is RED and i have to switch to grayscale to get it in black/white. can someone help me? some of the non-PPed IR photos posted are black/blue... is it a different filter? i use Hoya R72...or is it the different cameras? sam

Generally red out of camera IR pictures means that Custom White Balance (CWB) has not been set before taking IR pictures.
Can you verify if you have done any CWB prior to shooting IR? But even with CWB set some cameras are only capable of B&W IR. A list has been compiled here by Pablo and is being updated as and when new findings are confirmed. Cameras Capable of IR Can you post your unprocessed "red" picture? |
