Hiya,

Thanks all for the comments, glad you like it.

Petf69,
yep, you guessed right, shot in IR.

eikin,
I shot this using an IR filter. It was actually shot during the middle of the day. I've always liked the surreal, dream-world like effect that you can sometimes get from IR, and instead of processing it normally, I wanted to try and create a scenery you see when you go walking at night with the full moon lighting up the landscape. So I did some PS work to darken up the image a little to create a gloomy mood, the trees already had the right effect from the IR, I added a dark blue tint to make it look like a night scene and added a bit of blur to create a dreamy look.

cool, nice work if i were to be really picky actually i felt the lighting on the clouds was too harsh to get the feel of moon light ... otherwise all these IR shots (incl. other posts by other CSers recently) are making me itching to try already, just haven't got enough financial commitment yet

Thanks for the suggestion, I might give it a try to tone down the lighting on the clouds and see how it turns out. You'd be surprised how bright a full moon looks when you're away from the city lights - I was walking in a desert at night one time with the full moon out and it was amazing how bright the landscape was, too bad I didn't have a camera with me at the time.
