Thanks all for the comments, glad you like it. Petf69, yep, you guessed right, shot in IR. eikin, I shot this using an IR filter. It was actually shot during the middle of the day. I've always liked the surreal, dream-world like effect that you can sometimes get from IR, and instead of processing it normally, I wanted to try and create a scenery you see when you go walking at night with the full moon lighting up the landscape. So I did some PS work to darken up the image a little to create a gloomy mood, the trees already had the right effect from the IR, I added a dark blue tint to make it look like a night scene and added a bit of blur to create a dreamy look. |
