50mm f1.8 onmy 300D will become 80mm.... use this lenght to take landscape is ok?

Hi sumball,
I use the 50mm f1.8 II for my shots and have not had any hot spots. It seems a good lens to use for IR. The IR filter for it is also a fraction of the cost of a 72mm one. Looking forward to your posts and jmba's, as teerex has mentioned. Keep an eye out for IR shoot postings, I am sure all would like to meet you guys. Cheers guys.
