very vibrant colours indeed but IMHO the titles don't seem to be match the pictures very well on a few instances, #1 and #2 seem to focus on the red and pinkish spots rather than yellow, #4 the yellow pollens seem to be snatching attention from the top right corner as they are in focus, #8 again the yellow in the middle snatches the attention from the blue colour, similar for #9 and #10. i think very often photograph titles are just as important as the photographs, mismatches can create sense of contradictions. why not title the photographs with more than one colour? just some frank opinions, maybe i am just too picky, cheers

Hi! Eikin,
thank you for your comments.
these are my 1st trail shots and I'm practising my focusing on these flowering plants when taking a shot.
After uploading these pictures I tried to give it a title so i refer to this book "The Plants" in LIFE - Nature Library Series and got this title "The Wonders of Colour". It explained these flowering plants and one pigment - chlorophyll contribute to their different appearance (colour)
sorry if my grouping of different flowers confuse you. I'm trying to put them together using colour group - green, yellow, red and blue.
In taking these flower shots, I wonder where should I focus because of narrow DOF and inexperience. On windy day, it is even harder to focus on where you want to focus - one good example of my last shot, I hold it with my one hand then the other hand depress the shutter. Using C-AF is necessary for taking these shots. By the way, I think the title "the wonders of colour" suit these flowing plants. Isn't it?
Cheers,

yup, the main title of the series is apt, but the group titles can be improved

Lense Shadow?
Did you use flash with this shot? Seems like there is a lens shadow at the bottom of the picture.

No flash. ya, because of too near and touching the flower,
the following one should be better.

Thank you for pointing out my mistake.
