Did I complain about rhetoric 3 days cbd locked down? U have very good imagination....

Yes, u don't need a kid to go Disney but u do miss the joy of having kids companionship in Disney.
Maybe for you. There were hundreds of man u and Liverpool fans in my area alone watching F1 instead of their match.

You're gonna trust an American on racing??? NASCAR and indycar are jokes, Americans go there because they only go in circles, only little attention span needed, they can eat their hotdogs and drink beer without needing to pay attention to the race. So why would anyone listen to just America with their booooooring races when the rest of the world watches F1? The Americans are a tiny minority here.

The reason why the proposition of a night race in Asia is attractive is because folks in Europe dp not have to wake up in the wee hours to watch the race.

Wating 20 over cars running round in circles might be boring for some. I can say the same for 22 blokes chasing after a ball on the field.

Also, you realize that the F1 races almost never overlap the European football schedule? There's a good reason for that... TV rights contracts.

Please lah, the race is good for singapore exactly the way it is. Don't take your personal complaint crusade as the opinion of the majority, or what makes economic sense. Everything from the location to the accessibility concerns to the accommodation concerns and marketing/tourism aspect was considered.

And in F1 there's *always* a winner. No 0-0 draws.

I like watch 24 car go round and round. I also like watch 22 people chase 1 ball. All same lah.

NASCAR was born from illegal street races amongst the working class in the 1930s. They are deep rooted in US and will not see light in other parts of the world simply because they don't need the rest of the world to sustain them. The yanks had adopted a protectionist approach to sports (and other stuff). Hence F1 abandoned them.

this must be the only Formula One race in the world where a fast 70-200 tele zoom is more than enough reach , the cars being so close to the crowd

my nephews went to the race last night (SUnday) ONLY because Katy Perry was in concert (The Pretenders played on Saturday) ..... so their take is all those concerts plus races through the afternoon and night ...... for a VERY affordable price...

when the circuit at Changi is finally ready ...... there will be another set of complaints ....

May be time for SG to host MotoGP as well. F1 is less interesting lately with to many rules and restrictions.

i doubt the Motosports Hub at Changi will be done this quick. after all, the company that's doing it has gone bust. the government isn't stepping in to help and blah blah blah.

but from what they mentioned in the news, that track won't be designed for F1, but for Moto GP and Go-karting.

and heck. the transport system at Changi is so bad, i don't even want to go there to watch any race.

Well lets also have the following .....

1: MotoGP - when if Changi gets built ...

2: V8 Supercars - would love to see them on the F1 circuit either as standalone or support races ....

    Other Points from above:
F1 is going back to America - Circuit of America , also there is talk of a street Race in New York, not sure if its a Night Race or Day.

London is also thinking of a street race.

So both London / New York want to copy Singapore.

Bernie WANTS more races out of Europe, Asia - Middle East - Australia have a total of 9 races. All the races from this point forward are out of Europe.

Correct MotoGP was the target, which is why the track was to be about 3.5 to 4.0km in length, MotoGP track homologation is different from F1.

i worked at a subcontracting company in the earlier years of Singapore grand prix . unrestricted access to track side , marshal lane etc . even on race days. really exciting for the first five mins . after that it was just noisy .

not to be blaze but another engineer from main con was hoping to see crashes too. other wise . . . just neck exercise and ear plug stuffing .

anyway if you think Singapore races are bad, think of Monaco . they have probably one and only one main road !

somehow the angmos (and increasingly seeing loaded PRCs/Indonesians) really dig it.
my brother went to the first race at Sepang (sponsored) and was bored out of his mind.
i don't mind as long as the tourists keep bringing in the moolah in.
