The colour is very vibrant. No PS ? Did you use the extreme 16mm.

I did PP using LR4. The basic curves and exposure tweaks are done in less less than 5 mins. The distortion correction took me very long though.

For the colour, I did +5 vibrance and +20 saturation, hope it's not overdone to your eyes

    Yup I used 16mm.

Im so jealous of u guys comp

LR lens profile doesnt correct distortion? Or it is still distorted after correction?
Hmmm maybe i shud consider upgrading another 1gb ram... But im not sure whether it is my slow duo core processor slowing LR or the ram

After using D600 for 2 weddings, i still prefer to use D700 as main camera. The af is more reliable especially in low light.

Nikon body warranty is local so u can't register a US body in sg.

The default distortion correction corrects quite a huge chunk, but because of it being a "structure" with lines, I need further corrections. If its a natural landscape, normally don't need to spend too much time on it.

Nice shot. You managed to keep the buildings in the background out of the picture. Well done.

Nice shot wolfton, however I find it just a tiny bit too saturated to my eyes. Otherwise, I love the picture. Very detailed.

Haha. No wonder this temple looks familiar and yet not the same one I could recognize. In Singapore, no temple without structures and building-under-construction at the background.

From what I read on the forum in US, people seem to return newly bought cameras for any reasons. What do Amazon, Adorama, B&H or any other online shops do with the returns? I won't take the risk of spending thousand dollars to get one of them.

It does happen but some sellers may impose restocking fees to discourage frivolous returns.

I guess most of these shops have a back to back return policy with distributors to ensure they are covered.

They sell it as new if the item condition is still good. Amazon does this. The rest should be doing the same.

Customer A buys a D600 mounts his lens and takes a few shots. Doesn't like it. Returns it. All accessories still sealed. It will be sold as new again.
