Hey babykoh......To the best of my knowledge.....there is nothing much you can do with the distortion. It's never too good to use this lens for a group photo as it will distorted the people in the pic. For lanscape is fine because its not so noticable.

You may want to try some other website on the net that maybe able to provide you a solution to your problem.

Actually distortion can be corrected. But there will be loss of detail
There are no bad photographers, only photos that could've been done better

yes. you can correct the distortion. but you'll lose the edges of the image.

and even for Landscape photography, even if the distortion is well-controlled, you'll notice that the perspectives of the image will be distorted as well. things closer to the lens will appear larger than things in the background e.g. 20 meters to even just 1 meter away.

and when i saw lanscape.... i was thinking of a landscape of something un-mentiontionable

Spot on. Extension distortion, to be exact.

We've got to be clear with different kind of distortions and get the facts right.

Inherent perspective distortions in wide angle lenses i.e. stretched faces at the edges cannot be corrected. What can be corrected are curvilinear distortions and keystone effects.

kids these days wont bother with such technical stuff. ts is obviously doing photography full time, but does not put in effort to learn from experience himself and expects to be spoon feeded on answers.

    i want the 14-24.
