Default Rolleicord vs X-pan

Taken at Pebble bay while waiting for the fireworks! The guy behind was using an X-pan and a D1X, looks like a pro to me!

Rolleicord....hmmm..... nice! How's the lens quality like? I have got a Rolleiflex with Rolleikin adapter for 35mm film use. Haven't got the time to try them out yet... they are sitting comfortably in my dry cabinet as an antique for the time being.

This is a rolleicord IV, just delivered from Australia by my good friend. Trying out for first time, so dunno how the quality yet. Have tried shooting with Rolleicord V, lens is very sharp and produce saturated colours. You should take out your Rolleiflex and shoot with it, such a waste to leave it lying in your dry cabinet! It's a great camera!

Before I got the Rolleiflex, I was actually using the Mamiya TLR C330s body with all Mamiya TLR lenses (55, 65, 80, 105, 135, 180 and 250mm). Then, I stumbled across a Rolleiflex with a fixed 80mm lens (which is abit handicap compared to Mamiya's interchangeable lens option).

Then, I thought hmmm...... what a beauty a Rolleiflex TLR is, so I bought it as a vintage collectible item instead.

Anyway, I have sold all my Mamiya TLR equipment, so my Rolleiflex TLR may help to ease the pain a little.
