Default [help]Lightroom How to get this grainy effect ? ?

    Hi all,

How do I get the following grainy film effect below in Adobe Lightroom? I tried adding more grain and desaturating but can't really get the white blurry effect of the pictures.

    thanks for any advices !

pretty easy if you add a blank grey or white layer and adjust the opacity, then add grain to that.

GIMP (GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program) is absolutely free and can do most of what Photoshop can do. GIMP since I went open source, quite reliable, nothing fancy though (no macros, etc)

At the risk of going off topic...
if you are referring to photo blend as layers with masking , yes. it can do pretty much everything PS can do. Free. Multi platform.

    sorta looks like
reduced contrast + more fill light + reduced clarity + added grain

I suppose there are additional steps, but it should get you more or less there.
    Exploring! :)
