Anyone have used Sigma 18-125mm F3.5-5.6 DC?
Any idea how much it cost?

it's an ONLY DIGITAL lens that is good IF you dont mind the slight noisy AF and the built...to me, it's a good enuff walk-around lense...cheap ($500+ new, $450+ 2nd hand), light, quiet sharp...and covers a wide range...it's really up to you if you want to buy it once you hold it...you wont drool over the lense at all...it's simply a SIMPLE lense for digital SLRs.

but it you really want SHARP pict...then this lense might not be it...so be prepared to spend lah...spend spend spend until you could practically...buy all lenses ...he he he

i know 2 canon users of this lens. one even sold his 28-105mm for this. i believe u can search for mpenza's previous posts to see some pics he took in HK using this lens. my colleague also bought this lens for his bangkok trip. not bad, the pic quality, i must say. however, IMO, the 2 extremes, 18mm and 125mm, the pics are a bit soft, based on my colleague's pics.

however, if u have a nikon film camera, u can't use this lens on it without vignetting.

Hmm anyone waiting for Tamron's 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 Di-II lens?

Being waiting for it to compare it against the Sigma 18-125mm f/3.5-5.6

18-200 will be like a 28-300 in 35mm format.
Seems like a potentially good range walk-ard lens.
