WoW !!!
Hi teerex, these are realy good I like them all. The kit lens used #3 is a nice shot, good colours #4 the kids slide is good, I guess the original colours are the same as the ones over here. The new colours created are good as they stand out "unlike what I have tried here before". #5 is just great all round. Cheers.

No point going into the details for imperfection coz the feel of the photos are there. Well done! I love all of them! |

Thanks davsmiths for kind comments.
Sinky - I like #3 also. The cherry blossom look against the blue sky. Pablo - You're too kind. Yes, I used the kit lens. That's about the only lens I will use for IR, very comfortable with it now that I'm used to the focal length that I should be using so as not to get any vignetting with filter stacking. If I remember correctly, the original colour of the slide is RED. But due to the post processing and channel swap it turned out that colour. #3, in addition to the usual, channel swap, hue/saturation adjustment I decreased the brightness and increased the contrast slightly to get those colours a little richer. Thanks for viewing. |

Hey guys, thanks for all the encouragement and kind comments.
tokrot - are you into IR? Wanna join us sometime on our shoots? vortex, ark - thks. Ark where do you usually start when you shoot at Bedok Reservoir? Adiemus - I was thinking that the lampost would be an added element in the pic. In fact if I moved slightly more to the right I could eliminate the lampost and have more the the tree in the pic. Should have taken another shot at that angle. Panda - I'm still learning and experimenting with PP. Sure anytime, will share what I do in PP with you. All the time to shoot? Your time will come my friend. Last edited by teerex; 2nd February 2005 at 11:08 AM. |
