IR remote shutter on Nevo pda for D70?

Anybody knows how to set the Nevo software on pda (i.e; hp2210) to control the IR remote shutter for D70?

I just want to use the IR remote shutter for the BULB function. Cos, without the IR, I'll have to keep holding the shutter pressed in throughout the exposure.

Not ideal when I want to hold the shutter button for over 45 secs!

First and foremost, you need to get hold of the actual remote. After that start up your nevo. Just add a new item in your nevo(doesn't matter which item). When you are done adding, point the original remote to the HP2210, click on the learn funtion on the Nevo software. It will prompt you to press the button on your remote. Press it and once the Nevo learn it, it will let out a beep sound. There you have it.

So does anyone have the control for the D70? I wonder if the original Nevo software in my PDA has the learn function...didnt even know there was one in the first place!

I think my setting is Sanyo TV. But what number to set I am not sure because my PDA is not with me as I am not in sg.
I have use my PDA to trigger my D70 to take picture before.

Yes your PDA's nevo have the learn function and if you can get a hold of a remote you can make it learn. It works as I am using the same.

I would like to 'record' the remote shutter IR code on my Nevo. But the thing is I can't get hold of the actual remote.

Any kind soul can help me in this?

i manage to learn the key from remote control. but unable to view the code...
any one know how to read the code??
